March 2010
Albuquerque Recycling, Inc. has launched the School Electronic Asset Rewards Program! Beginning in March 2010, all public and private schools as well as institutions of higher learning who recycle unwanted, obsolete computers and electronics with us will now receive monetary compensation for specific electronics based on the commodities market.
Here’s how it works. Call Albuquerque Recycling and provide us with the information about the electronics and other material for recycling. We will determine what equipment qualifies for compensation. We accept all of the following for recycling.
- Computers and servers
- LCD monitors and CRT monitors
- Keyboards and computer mice
- Cords and wires
- Printers, copiers and fax machines
- Televisions
- Phones, cell phones and tele-com equipment
- Computer back-up batteries
By partnering with Albuquerque Recycling, schools can rest assured that e-waste is going to be properly recycled. Schools can call us directly to schedule a pick up of material and all inquiries should be directed to 505-990-3732.

We had a Pots & Pans Recycling Event, co-sponsored with Whole Foods Market on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 that launched our acceptance of all metal pots and pans. Now, in addition, to e-waste we accept metal pots, pans, lids and cords at our facility. So, drop your old pots and pans off any time!
